Seven Cherries

Hello God!

Thank You for Sunday! New week begins and let me color your week with these happy paintings by Ira Mitchell Kirk .

Life is a bowl of cherries and Seven Cherries are seven days of a week. We habitually have our bowl but in every cherry the gift is hidden.

life is a bowl of cherries

“Days, months, and years were given to us by nature, but we invented the week for ourselves. There is nothing inevitable about a seven-day cycle; it represents an arbitrary rhythm imposed on our activities, unrelated to anything in the natural order.

But where the week exists—and there have been many cultures where it doesn’t—it is so deeply embedded in our experience that we hardly ever question its rightness, or think of it as an artificial convention; for most of us it is a matter of “second nature”, Eviatar Zerubavel writes in his “The Seven Day Circle”.making magic

The Greeks named the days of week after the Sun, the Moon and the five known planets, which named after the gods Ares, Hermes, Zeus, Aphrodite, and Cronus. The Greeks called the days of the week  “theon hemerai” – “days of the Gods”.

The Romans substituted their equivalent gods for the Greek gods, Mars, Mercury, Jove (Jupiter), Venus, and Saturn.dance for joy

Sunday is the Sun’s day. The name comes from the Latin dies solis, meaning “sun’s day”: the name of a pagan Roman holiday. It is also called “Dominica” (Latin), the Day of God.

Monday is the Moon’s day. The name comes from the Anglo-Saxon monandaeg, “the moon’s day”. This second day was sacred to the goddess of the moon.

Tuesday is the Tiu’s day. This day was named after the Norse god Tyr. The Romans named this day after their war-god Mars “dies Martis”.

Wednesday is the Woden’s day. The day named to honor Wodan (Odin). The Romans called it “dies Mercurii”, after their god Mercury.

Sprinkling Stars

Thursday is Thor’s day. The day named after the Norse god Thor. In the Norse languages this day is called Torsdag.
The Romans named this day dies Jovis (“Jove’s Day”), after Jove or Jupiter, their most important god.

Blooming Love

Friday is Freya’s day. The day in honor of the Norse goddess Frigg.
In Old High German this day was called “frigedag”.
To the Romans this day was sacred to the goddess Venus, and was known as “dies veneris”.

oh! how time flies!

Saturday is Saturn’s day. This day was called dies Saturni, “Saturn’s Day”, by the ancient Romans in honor of Saturn. In Anglo-Saxon: saterdaeg.

Sunday is worth for listening and singing old good song. I am singing “Life is Just A Bowl Of Cherries”. Please enjoy and celebrate your every cherries.

“Life is just a bowl of cherries
Don’t take it serious; it’s too mysterious…”

Thank you for your smiling eyes and have a good week!

Cinderella’s Diary

Hello God!

Thank You for Cinderella.

We all know her story but nothing about her marriage with Prince Charming. Today’s morning I have found the continuation of her story in the wonderful poem “Cinderella’s Diary” by Ron Koertge. With these Vogue illustration I am happy to share it.

Cinderella.jpg

“I miss my stepmother. What a thing to say,
but it’s true. The prince is so boring: four
hours to dress and then the cheering throngs.
Again. The page who holds the door is cute
enough to eat. Where is he once Mr. Charming
kisses my forehead goodnight?

Every morning I gaze out a casement window
at the hunters, dark men with blood on their
boots who joke and mount, their black trousers
straining, rough beards, calloused hands, selfish,
abrupt…

Step-mother.jpgOh, dear diary—I am lost in ever after:
those insufferable birds, someone in every
room with a lute, the queen calling me to look
at another painting of her son, this time
holding the transparent slipper I wish
I’d never seen”.

Cinderella is running to step-mother’s hands even faster than she was in hurry to Prince Charming. Cinderella’s story in this film is beautiful but you know we should be careful what we wish for.

Thank you for your smiling eyes and light breath, it is great pleasure to feel them for me. Have a beautiful day!

Murrforbidden Fruit

Hello God!

Thank You for the feeling of Miracle we are all full in the anticipation of Christmas. Miracle is on the way, and we have the most beautiful weekend in the year dreaming about something very desirable.

With the photos by Svetlana Pavlovskaya in my anticipation of Christmas Miracle I am writing “Murrforbidden Fruit”.

In the middle of MurrParadise is the Murrforbidden Fruit…

Forbidden.jpg

Two rings of sausages with salt and spices are in my eyes,

It is so tempting and seductive with a skin around –

I want to touch it, just to touch…

But I know the Fruit is forbidden,

My goddess, my owner, keeps it until Christmas,

She is in the Nativity Fast.

Temptation.jpg

Temptation is stronger than my fear,

I want it just to touch, so stretching on tiptoe

I have touched it!!! Oh, meow-meow, murrrrrr!

My paw is so tender, so fluffy, and

Simply to touch is not the pleasure now,

I desire more…

No Will.jpg

The dance of dopamines with adrenaline bass

Increasing my blood level – I bump into the desire,

My heart races and my mouth goes dry.

The moment of stabbing my teeth in the skin is the rush –

The happiest moment I have in my life!

My owner, please forgive me my weakness. I am just a cat!

Christmas is coming! I love your smiles, I love your eyes! Thank you for sharing with me  this happy waiting for Christmas!

Macho Madrid

Hello God!

Thank You for Madrid I was blessed to dance in. It was incredibly happy experience of the hugging and rhythm by handsome Macho Madrid.

I suppose that the word “macho” in the modern environment sometimes has the negative connotation, means for example “a man who is aggressively proud of his masculinity”.  As for me it is associated with “a man’s responsibility to provide for, protect, and defend his woman and family”.

I love Madrid. He inspires in every steps dancing with him.Dancing in Madrid.JPG

Madrid is Macho.

He is tender with strong arms,

His huggings are precious,

I am feeling his heart.Madrid.JPG

Landing on the stage,

I am Jeniffer Lopez in red dress,

Mademoiselle Butterfat

Hello God!

Thank You for the butter I am generously spreading on my bread.  I have a breakfast.

The piece of bread is of course gluten free. And butter… oh, I know about cholesterol which is potentially bad for my health. But I love butter. It smells fantastically and it looks as divine honey. What’s the pleasure and the gift I have at this morning!

Inspiring by butter and cream in my coffee I enjoy creating my opera “Mademoiselle Butterfat”.

Selfi Cow.jpg

My dear friend, her name is Ollie Joy, is a beautiful and gentle cow.

She loves traveling and this is her last selfie

She took in Amsterdam.

I met her in Ventspils, Latvia, we introduced on the Parade of Cows.

Touring Cow.jpg

Ollie enjoys a new places and

Has a dream to visit all countries

She watches about at Discovery channel.

FLying with seagulls.jpg

Ollie was named by her famous grandmother –Elm Farm Ollie,

Grandmother adventures are around the airplane flight

She took on Feb. 18, 1930, to the International Aircraft Exposition at St. Louis.

Sailor cow.jpg

Because she was such an unusually productive dairy cow —

And required three daily milkings —

She was put to work in-flight.

As the story goes, she ate her usual feed and produced 24 quarts of milk!

Sailor Beauty.jpg

She inspired to create lyric opera, “Madame “Butterfat”.

It tells the tale of one Farmer Brown, whose farm was about to go under.

A couple of salesmen offered him money for Elm Farm Ollie

So that they could fly her in a plane and milk her.Glamour Cow.jpg

Farmer Brown loved the cow but had no choice; he sold her.

The men planned to sell the milk with big price and have a lot of money,

but Ollie said that if the men didn’t give the milk to the needy,

“I’ll make the biggest cow pie that you have ever seen

So follow well my orders or I will be obscene.”

Sensibly, they complied.

Ha-ha-ha! What’s the girl!

Happy Cow.jpg

Two girls are talking on the bench.

I love the story of her grandmother –

“Sing we praises of that moo cow,

Airborne once and ever more,

Kindness, courage, butter, cream cheese,

These fine things we can’t ignore.”

We are singing “Bovine Cantata in B flat,”

Please enjoy the opera and love your breakfast creating your own masterpiece, singing and laughing about everything you see! As I love my “Mademoiselle Butterfat”.

Have a beautiful day!

Spooky Legonight

Hello God!

Thank You for Halloween. Tonight we are going to have a great Legonight!

I invite you in Denmark. Billund is the city where Lego was born and Legoland is fantastic there.

La Maison.jpg

The Haunted House is welcoming you, “Through the open doors
The harmless phantoms on their errands glide,
With feet that make no sound upon the floors…”

Boo!

Vamp.jpg

And handsome vampire is smiling, inviting to

“The spirit-world around this world of sense
Floats like an atmosphere, and everywhere
Wafts through these earthly mists and vapours dense
A vital breath of more ethereal air…”

Boo!

Halloween.jpegBoo!

“So from the world of spirits there descends
A bridge of light, connecting it with this,
O’er whose unsteady floor, that sways and bends,
Wander our thoughts above the dark abyss.”

The poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

“Halloween rituals turn horror into play, death into levity, gore into laughter,” says UC Berkeley psychologist Dacher Keltner.

Off with your head, Dance till you are dead, Heads will roll – ha, ha, ha!

So thank you for our Spooky Legonight!  Your laughing is really inspiring!

Monday in Roses

Hello God!

Thank You for Monday! As usual my new life begins from Monday and Labor Day is the first Monday of September.

Most of Mondays I habitually promise to myself to wake up earlier, to do my morning exercises every day, to be calmer with my daughter when we do her homework and other self-improvement stuff demanding self-discipline.

Today is my magical Monday and I am going to begin it in roses.

Grace_Kelly_MGM_photo.jpg

When I think about roses I see Grace Kelly and her rose garden in Monaco. Roses were Grace Kelly’s favorite flower and in 1984, to honor her, Prince Ranier inaugurated a public rose garden dedicated to her memory. Located in Fontvielle, in the principality of Monaco, the Princess Grace Rose Garden is situated on a gentle slope next to Fontvielle Park on the French Riviera. The fragrant garden is home to more than 4,000 roses. I was blessed walking around there.

Loving rose.jpg

Rose is a wonderful flower and we all know it does not grow by itself. Even in Monaco.

With Kipling’s words: “Gardens are not made by singing: “Oh, how beautiful,” and sitting in the shade”, I open “The Old Farmer’s Almanac” and read “How to plant, grow and care for roses”. In my Monday’s case I am the rose-me and I am going to grow myself. You know why – I dream to look like Grace Kelly.

Rosarium.jpg

To plant a rose I need preparing the Soil. I have a body – Soil which is the temple of my soul and the source of my development. Ok, I promise cut sugar-carbohydrates and do Tibetan “Fountain of Youth” every morning. I like this complex and it takes about 20 minutes.

Roses.jpg “Plant roses where they will receive a minimum of 5 to 6 hours of full sun per day. Roses grown in weak sun may not die at once, but they weaken gradually. Give them plenty of organic matter when planting and don’t crowd them” – what’s a wonderful tip for self -growing.

Moday in roses.jpg

I do not exactly, I suppose – you see a gorgeous Hybrid Tea rose which is named after Grace. Anyway watering my own rose-person means inspiring other soul to create. At this very moment I’am helping you to create your own happy hybrid, I hope.

Rosarai.jpg

“When you transplant your roses, be sure to dig a much bigger hole than you think you need”. Self-growing the rose-me is fulfilled but sometimes transformations are painful and fearful. “Wear sturdy gloves to protect your hands from prickly thorns” – I have an extra pair for you.

Today in roses.jpg

“Prune roses every spring and destroy all old or diseased plant material. Wear elbow-length gloves that are thick enough to protect your hands from thorns but flexible enough to allow you to hold your tools.” I hold my tools tightly and I am with your support. Thank you very much for your smiling eyes I am feeling now.

Rose Fountain.jpg

We overcome the thorns of temptations and meet ourselves as beautiful buds of roses. “Les Roses d’hispahan” by Gabriel Fauré is our award for hardworking self-growing process:

“Your lips are of coral and your light
filled laugh more lovely than swift water, your voice more soft;
more joyful than the wind that shivers the orange blossoms,
than the bird that sings beside its nest of moss.”

The melody is as harmonious as we all are created. The Rose-me is growing hard but flowering is worth it.

Happy Labor Day! Have all Mondays in Roses!

Knowledge Day

Hello God!

Thank You for the Knowledge Day!

We are celebrating the 1st of September, our first day in school!

Knowledge.jpgWe are happy today. My daughter with hand in my hand goes to the school. I know, my darling, home works are compulsory and sometimes its are difficult and boring. Teachers are different and perhaps you will meet misunderstanding. But I am with you and I help you to open numerous doors to knowledges. I learn with you.

Knoledge Door.jpg

With the Danish doors you see, for today I have discovered “The Chaos” written by Dutch writer, traveller, and teacher Gerard Nolst Trenité.

This is a classic English poem containing about 800 of the worst irregularities in English spelling and pronunciation!!!

Dearest creature in Creation,
Studying English pronunciation,
I will teach you in my verse
Sounds like corpse, corps, horse, and worse.
I will keep you, Susy, busy,
Make your head with heat grow dizzy;
Tear in eye, your dress you’ll tear;
So shall I!

Oh, hear my prayer.

The door.jpg

Pray, console your loving poet,
Make my coat look new, dear, sew it!
Just compare heart, beard, and heard,
Dies and diet, lord and word.
Sword and sward, retain and Britain
(Mind the latter, how it’s written!)
Made has not the sound of bade,
Say-said, pay-paid, laid, but plaid.

Please enjoy and learn! We all are always have something to learn. Thank you for your smile and my hope that I open something new and fascinating for your mind!

Happy Knowledges!

Spring Bird

Hello God!

Thank You for Spring! With singing birds as my alarm clock and fresh aroma of coffee as my first inspiration, morning is beginning a new happy day.

Everything beautiful in our life was born in love, passion and grace. Spring brings to us these great gifts. Today I invite you in Bergamo in a sunny terrace of charming cafe “La Marianna” to share with me fantastic desert – Polenta e Osèi, the gastronomic symbol of Bergamo.

Marzipan Bird

Originally, polenta, from the Latin pollen for “fine flour”, which shares a root with pulvis, meaning “dust”, is a dish of boiled cornmeal. It’s frequently eaten with meats and ragù, cheese like gorgonzola.

The origins of the sweet version of Polenta e Osèi date to 1910, the year when a local baker, Amadeo Alessio and his wife, created it for the first time.

It is interesting that Polenta e Osèi is in no way actually made of polenta. The polenta-like appearance is due to a yellow fondant covering rolled in big crystals of sugar, with a dollop of apricot jam on top. Inside, a yellow cake (pan di spagna) hides a cream center of usually hazelnut.

It seems I know the reason why Polenta e Osèi is not actually Polenta…Tipico di Bergamo

Amadeo Mozartti is a young and joyful baker from peasant family with happy songs creates his masterpieces in Antonio Salierri’s  pastry. Salierri’s business is a heritage from 7 generations of excellent bakers. And from his first inhalation Antonio is a baker and he has dedicated himself to the service of the baking art. He is rich and he enjoys his life in baking cakes in own pastry.

He is proud of his high standards. Of course, the Queen personally byes sophisticated cakes here, in Salerri! But it is the question here. The Queen loves Mozartti’s deserts. Secretly, however, Salleri is jealous of Mozartti’s works because he recognizes their superior quality, especially given what he sees in him as a simple peasant.Sweet Bird

Soprano’s family is the richest in Verona. Father of Sopranos is going to Bergamo to expand their business and the best way to do it is … family-arranged wedding! He has a daughter Giulietta Soprano. The only child, she is a gift from heaven.

“Sallieri is a good choice for my Giulietta”, thinks Soprano. “He is rich. He has connection with the Queen”. “Oh, yes, I will marry. Sopranos is my chance!”, Sallierri dreams. Of course, his interest in her is primarily based on her social standing and her family’s vast wealth, in contrast to her youthful beauty.

Delicious

The meeting Giulietta Soprano with Antonio Sallierri was arranged in Antonio’s pastry. Amadeo Mozartti secretly glanced on Giulietta is fallen in love with her endlessly at the first sight. He can not handle the feeling but what he can do? How he can tell her “I love you!”?

Delicious

Happy loving hands of grandmother Amadeo feels on his hot forehead and the only world “Polenta” he listens in the dreams at the night before the day when meeting with Giulietta is possible. “Polenta? It sounds ridiculous. This dish is for poor peasants”,  Amadeo desperately cries, “I will try any way. It is matter of life or death. I will chose the finest ingredients for my wordless love confession”.

He runs to the kitchen: “White chocolate, dark chocolate, butter, of course, ground almonds, instead of corns! What a relief!” Amadeo happily singing again creates his masterpiece.

For friends

“Marzipan bird is on the apricot confiture pillow happily resting in the golden nest not from a metal but from sunshine and my favourite corn. Dear Giulietta, you are the bird and my love is the golden nest. I will keep it for the end of my days,”  Giulietta recognised Amadeo’s heart and read the message from it.

Sallieri did not poison Mozartti. Amadeo was simply fired. Father Soprano accepted the choice of his child’s heart. All Bergamo was dancing on their wedding. Happy End!

We can join celebrating Spring and Love with a beautiful dance “La Bergamesca” by Marco Uccellini.

Thank you for your hand I am feeling in the dance by beating of our hearts. Your eyes are incredible. You are beautiful. You are my Spring Bird!

Blue Flower

Hello God!

Thank You for Blue Flower we are all gifted with. Blue Flower is Inspiration we are bringing up to realise divine blooming inside and around us.

To tell the truth I was sleeping on this page with this post almost  for two month and simply nothing was born. January had a wings and I missed him in a viscous swap of time wasting.

Than February hurries to close his door. Am I strong enough to catch the last February’s train? Or as a habit, unfortunately, cowardly close the page, excusing myself “No Inspiration”. Korean illustrator Mi-Kyung Choi expresses the words I am trying to write.

Cactus.jpg

The Cactus is inside my entity for now. He says that I am lasy and clumsy. He torches me with his thorns of my low self esteem and nourishes my cowardice and weaknesses.

“Please, write nothing and close the page. It is not worthy, it is useless. Let’s go to eBay and check out something new, or we can spend wonderful time on social media instead!”, Cactus advices. 2 or even 4 hours of massive “sitting around and nothing to do” with the evil makes the results – I am sick, my head is heavy, the page is empty.

Oh, by the way, I am watching the photos from Oscar Ceremony now – Cactus applauds – we spend tonight together… again. It is sad, because it is my time, but Cactus dictates.

Mi-Kyung Choi.jpg

And I know about fragile Blue Flower inside. She is growing near Cactus. But her soil is endless Love and Light. She is the infinitive source of happiness. Her tinkling voice somewhere deeply inside is begging: “Please, close the imdb page with the photos from Oscar and complete the post about me. It is important for the world, it is essentially important for you. I am here with you. Trust me – I bring happiness to you!”.

So I closed the photos and I am with you to tell you about Blue Flower. She is vibrating creature and as your angel is always near you. She is mother of creativity. And she waits always patiently and tenderly when you will notice her.

My heart is full of gratefulness because Cactus is silent now, Cactus is tiny and helpless, due to my attention is with Blue Flower now. It is miraculous sense of really happy and satisfying reality! I am in flow! Oh, it seems I am in the last February’s train!

Diana Vishneva, breathtaking and stunningly beautiful, is dancing the solo in FLOW. It is exactly what I am feeling now.

You know Cactus and Blue Flower are always together. The balance between matters. “Mmmm, I have not found out really beautiful dress on the red carpet of Oscar Ceremony, let’s go to read some celebrity gossip”, Cactus winks.

Thank you for your Blue Flower you are sharing her blooming with us!
