Lilac Legends

Hello God!

Thank You for the huge vase of lavender and deep purple lilacs standing on the table near my computer where I am writing to you. I have chosen these spring paintings by Ekaterina Grebenkina to visualize the vase.

With the lilac’s dazzling scent and tender touching of tiny flowers on my face Lilac legends are for today…

Lilacs

The English common name “lilac” is from the French lilac. The Latin word for lilac is syringa. The genus name Syringa is derived from Greek “syrinx”, meaning a hollow tube or pipe.

According to Greek mythology Syrinx was a Naiad Nymph of the River Ladon in Arkadia in southern Greece.

Pan and Syrix

Sad love story we see on this painting “Pan et Syrix” by French painter Edmund Dulac.

As told by the Roman poet Ovid in the Metamorphoses, the lusty satyr Pan eagerly pursued the wood nymph Syrinx. Guarding her virtue, she ran until she reached a river and desperately begged her sisters of the stream to transform her. Just as Pan was about to embrace her, Syrinx changed into a lilac, also called a reed-tree or pipe-tree.

When Pan discovered that he was holding nothing but a tiny lilac flowers, he sighed in disappointment, causing the wind to blow through its. He was enchanted by the sound, believing it to be the mournful cry of his beloved Syrinx. He fashioned a set of pipes so that he could have her with him always…

Vase with Lilacs

Another legend tells how the lilac flowers came into being when Spring drove away snow from the fields and raised the sun higher –  a rainbow appeared. Spring then gathered sunbeams and rainbow colors and scattered them to Earth. Where white and violet colors fell, small fragrant pale lavender flower bushes appeared. In other places where white colors fell, there were white lilac bushes.

Lilac brings enchantment and faithfulness to us. Let’s enjoy lilac blooming and legends with romantic Rahmanihoff!

Thank You very much for sharing with me this fantastic lilac experience and knowledge. This very moment when I am feeling your beautiful and smiling eyes is inspiring and promising. We are blooming together as lilac bushes.

A Tiny Cup of Coffee

Hello God!

Thank You for my beige mood today. Warning up with a cup of latte I enjoy my winter blue in a dreams. The inviting aroma of coffee and cream tickles my nose and by the neural canals the most romantic memories are awaking in my brain and wrapping me up in a cozy blanket of Love.

I see in the “1902 Doll” by Robert Piguet endless tenderness and feel beauty of being alive. My latte is Beige, the doll is in Beige. And a love story is in the air.

Picture 011

It has all begun with a tiny cup of coffee. Elisabeth is the piano teacher and between a lessons she loves to enjoy her coffee break in a cafe. “Oh, I can catch a happy dose of silence together with cinnamon aroma and creamy taste of my coffee here – my noisy pupils are so nice, but I need, I desperately need 5 minutes of rest” – we are unintentional listeners of a beautiful conversation.

“I am Robert, a writer. Could I join to you for sharing a happy dose of reflections and coffee? I will be silent, I promise” – she nodded and a smile touched her eye corners.

Picture 003

Robert and Elisabeth are sitting together on their regular table in absolute silence but clouds above their cups of coffee tell us about their hearts beating in Love unison. We see it and know it for sure…

She have found an envelope under the door when her last lesson ended tonight. “Dear Elisabeth! Due to our “silent minutes”, please, allow me to open my heart in this letter – I know, I know you can think that I am a coward but I do respect our silence dose, so to say you something in the minutes of our meetings is impossible for me. And you know I am a writer…” – a tears of happiness are rolling down her cheeks.

“There is no moment of my life when you are not a part of me; you hold my heart; you guard my soul; you guide my dreams so tenderly… And if my will might be done, and all I long for could come true, with perfect joy I would choose to share eternity only with you.” Robert writes in a hope.

Picture 013

They sit in silence as usual with a tiny cups of coffee.  “Oh, what’s the sounds!” – the engagement ring is in her cup! “Yes, I do” – she’s whispering…

“Through all of our seasons this will be certain; this will be constant, shining and true: with the gift of your heart you gave my life meaning; and I’ll spend a lifetime cherishing you.”

The “Grande Valse brillante” in E♭ Major by Frédéric Chopin is the hymn to their Love!

Enjoy your cup of coffee and your true love will find you. I know, I promise. I am the piano teacher.

Privet, Pushkin!

Hello God!

Thank You for Pushkin. He is my favourite poet since I am 3 y.o. A memories from childhood define a happiness as a feeling which influences on whole life.

As for me happiness is a December’s evening and my mother or grandmother is reading for me a fairy tale by Aleksandr Sergeevich Pushkin. I am sitting near a window and feeling the North breath of Ded Moroz. I am dancing as a ballerina with snowflakes and the words of fairy poetry by Pushkin are our rhythmic pulse of music of imagination…

Today I am reading Pushkin’s fairy tales for my daughter.

Hello Pushkin

Oh, do you recognise our old friend cat Vasya? Happy meeting has happened today and Vladimir Rumyantsev, the painter, has illustrated it.

In snow St. Petersburg along Neva embarkment Alexandr Pushkin is in hurry to his beloved Natasha with a thoughts about a new fairytale. “Privet, Pushkin!” he suddenly stopped and saw a small creature – a cat. “Mmm, sorry, I heard your voice?” Pushkin is puzzled. “And you think a cats can only myay-maya-meowing” Vasya frowned, and said, “I am special, I can read your thoughts – and what you are keeping in your mind now is actually not a fairytale“.

Pushkin and Vasya

“Could you help me, dear Vasya to create a good poem?” Alexandr asked, “instead I provide a plate of milk and my warm company for you”. “Mmmmyay I should think for a moment,” answered Vasya.

“Well, let’s go and write! Our happy duet is going to create” Pushkn and Vasya said in unison.

Pushkin and Vasya

“There’s a green oak by the bay,
on the oak a chain of gold:
a learned cat, night and day,
walks round on that chain of old:
to the right – it spins a song,
to the left – a tale of wrong.
Marvels there: the wood-sprite rides,
in the leaves a mermaid hides:
on deep paths of mystery
unknown creatures leave their spoor:
huts on hen’s legs you can see,
with no window and no door…”

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

My daughter loves the story and we are inspired to create together this Christmas tree decoration.

Vasya continues to dictate:

“And I was there and I drank mead,
I saw the green oak by the sea,
I sat there while the learned cat
told its stories – here’s one that
I remember, and I’ll unfurl,
a story now for all the world…”

Please enjoy Vasya and Pushkin’s masterpiece.

Thank you, my reader, for your smile and light from your beautiful eyes because of you I am here.

Three Sisters

Hello God!

Thank You for today. Often we think that it is just another day in our life. You know what? It is not just another day: it is the day that is given to us.

Today is Thanksgiving. Every language in the world has a way of saying “thank you”. In English the Latin root of the word “gratitude” is “grate” or “gratis” – a given gift – and from this same root we get our word “grace”, which means a gift freely given.

We all are gifted by Today. Three miraculous minutes of gratitude are visiting us to remind that we are engaged in a Miracle which we do not even recognise.

I have read in one book that a state of gratitude is the door to which all of the other beautiful aspects of consciousness begin to flower. When we project gratitude and thankfulness from the core of our being we are powerfully affirming and raising the value of our life and every life we contact with.

Just three minutes in a day for gratitude three sisters on the painting “Rice Harvest” by Hermel Alejandre ask to open the gate to Miracle we recognise.

Harvest

Three minutes are sisters
Their beauty gives wings
To fly in blue Skye
of each other’s eyes.

The first sister is morning Aurora
She celebrates your breathing
Heart’s beating and opening your eyes.
Your body is alive today
Say “Thank You” for awakening!

The second sister is daylight Anora
Her beauty in a dance of seasons
She is in joyful Fa major of summer
She is in sweet November si minor.
Say “Thank You” for this day!

The third is sparkling star Alzubra
Her beauty is in mystic night
She wears a velvet coat
You are embroidering by silk of your dreams
Say “Thank You” for your calm night!

I think Edvard Grieg in the first piece of his “Peer Gynt” suite shares his gratitude in the perfect way.

Thank You for sharing Your Light and Happy Thanksgiving!

50 days of silence

Hello God!

Thank You for this possibility to come back. I have never even suspected that coming back is so hard.

I am writing the 15th version of this post now due to the words are stumbling on each others. Its are in hurry to see Your beautiful smile. I missed You very much. I missed my wings which are Your reading eyes.

The wings that follow me

are breathing with my lungs

Breeze of your joy wakes me up

My dream was sweet…

But I want to be awaken

I want to be with You!

You see my angel on this amazing painting by Marina Chaikovskaya.

Silence

I have found a very nice book “Silence. The Mystery of Wholeness” by Cheryl Sanders-Sardello. Look what he writes, “The enormity of life’s tasks weigh and press on the day… they demand and insist on a constancy of attention that is relentless. Ah… but we are fortunate to have night’s solace – in the silence that is created by the dark”.

The Author continues, “Night… that melancholy time, when the stars remind us of the silence of God. Here we can remember the future and lean into the unknown, setting aside the oppressive weight of our carefully constructed version of who we think we are, and release that side of the pool. We can remember how to see in the dark… with our ears… perceiving the silence in its holy echoing and resonance, its calling forth a knowing that is from soul”.

“This silence sends us on a different pilgrimage. It guards the heart’s fire and teaches us to speak from within, with a language that is imbued with the sacred. Words thus nurtured in this holy silence fly forth with the wings of joy, and return to lead us back to the silence from which they were born.” What a beautiful words! The sounds of Chopin’s nocturne are in my ears.

Silence is a treatment for soul. And as a therapy by drugs silence demands the particular dosage. You know silence is seductive and narcotic. Overdosing is dangerous.

Once I had found myself as a fly trapped in a spider’s web. I do hope I have escaped the web by the wings that follow me. You are my wings. Thank You for my awakening.

Juggling Me

Hello God!

Thank You for Your sparkling and reading eyes I am feeling now. The sharp joy to meet and feel You again is overflowing my whole Universe.

I was playing with a quantum particles on a waves of small village where in a pastoral landscapes and in Internet-free zone I read a very good book “Quantum Consciousness: The Guide to Experiencing Quantum Psychology” by Stephen Wolinsky. And I have to admit that the company of Stephen Wolinsky was great. Then when I thought about this post the artist, very gifted Michael Cheval jointed to us. We were floating on a waves of the Ocean of Quantum Consciousness and juggling a particles creating this reality where reading these words is possible.

You are on the same waves with us and you will find out its very soon.

The Ocean

Quantum physics has produced a stunning subatomic mosaic that demonstrates the underlying unity of the universe. So Quantum Consciousness is essentially unity consciousness. Quantum Psychology asks the practitioner (1) to observe (Sufi and Eastern traditions), (2) take responsibility and experience subjective reality (Westen psychotherapy), and (3) realize the observer is creating the act of observation its subjective thoughts, feelings, etc. (quantum physics).

Creator of Reality

“If one perceives the cosmos as mere jugglery conjured up by some juggler or magician, or sees the world as a painting… then they will experience great happiness” – I am reading in the book.

Stephen Wolinsky suggests the following Quantum Exercise – let’s do it together:”Close your eyes for a few minutes and think about or imagine that the world is just like juggling, like something produced by a juggler in the circus, and that everything is being constantly juggled very spontaneously, almost like a magician’s trick and that, somehow, everyone and everything landed this way.”

Observer

“Let your mind expand to imagine that the world is like juggling, a magician’s trick. Somehow, it all landed here, and everybody somehow lands where they do.”

Contemplate the freedom, if the world is just a magician’s trick.

Now open your eyes and look around  – you are a juggler in creating the reality you observe. Are you feeling the waves of infinite freedom we are on now?

Thank You, thank You very much for creating the reality where Juggling Me and Juggling You is possible.

Flower of Life

Hello God!

Thank You for the Flower of Life. It is the gift of Forgiveness. For visualising my thoughts I am happy to share with you warm, sunny and beautiful paintings by Andrea Bruek.

You know after publishing the previous post about the plane catastrophe I have met a really devastating sense of powerless and meaningless about life. As a snow ball is getting larger, circling around and around in a snow abyss, the ball of my dark and heavy thoughts was getting larger and larger until I was trapped completely in the cage of fears and doubts.

Please forgive me for this behaviour.

Peaceful Beach

Forgiveness is our life long path. It is ongoing, always a work in progress. There is a place we can meet. You and me. I am waiting for you here. Please help me to stop recycling anger and blame.

Sunflower

With the flower of life by the words of Paul Ferrini I am asking: “From the depth of my soul, I call out for growth. I pray to be released from my burdens and to discover and express my gifts. From deep within my pain, I call for peace. From deep within my co-dependency, I call for the courage and the freedom to be myself, to forgive myself, and to forgive all others.”

Gods Garden of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is how we bring peace to ourselves and our world.

Thank You for your forgiveness and I am happily keeping your hand in mine here sitting on the bench of Peace.

Have a forgiving week!

Valentina Seagull

Hello God!

Thank You for today. On June 16, 1963, at the age of 26, Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman to fly in space!

Valentina spent almost three days in space and orbited Earth 48 times. She conducted biomedical and science experiments to learn about the effects of space on the human body, took photographs that helped identify aerosols in the atmosphere and manually piloted the ship. Her call sign for the flight was Chaika (Seagull). Chaika

“If women can be railroad workers in Russia, why can’t they fly in space?”  Valentina explained the decision to fly in space. After several months of intensive and secretive training, she was nominated and confirmed by Nikita Khrushchev himself to become the first woman in space.

“Hey, sky! Take off your hat, I’m coming!” she said in the seconds prior to liftoff.

Vostok-6

“Ya Chaika, Ya Chaika [I am Seagull]! I see the horizon […] This is the Earth; how beautiful it is. Everything goes well.”

MotherValentina

Valentina Seagull has a nest. She gave birth to daughter Yelena, who was the first person to have both a mother and father who had traveled into space.

Tereskova-monumenet

“Don’t believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding. Find out what you already know and you will see the way to fly.” –  I am reading in “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” by Richard Bach now.

“You will see the way to fly” – we see the sense of the words embodied in Valentina Tereshkova Monument at the site of Vostok 6 landing.

Thank You for flying with me.

Miss Melancholetta

Hello God!

Thank You for Miss Melancholetta! The saddest girl in the world was my company for last two weeks.

First week in her hugs was wonderful. We were walking without an umbrellas under spring rain and listening Chopin’s preludes. The most relevant to our mood was Prelude No.15 known as the “Raindrop” prelude. I even had found my old sheets of the Prelude and played it to my guest Miss Melancholetta. As for me the piece is difficult, lasting between five and seven minutes, this is the longest of the preludes and a pianist has to be in balanced condition as in balancing asanas in yoga practice. Balancing mood especially in my gust’s company is not my strong side.

We were declaiming a poems, of course, and because we are girls, about love for whole week. Our favourite is Love by Pablo Neruda:

Rose

Because of you, in gardens of blossoming
Flowers I ache from the perfumes of spring.
I have forgotten your face, I no longer
Remember your hands; how did your lips
Feel on mine?

I have forgotten your voice, your happy voice;
I have forgotten your eyes.

Tulip

Like a flower to its perfume, I am bound to
My vague memory of you. I live with pain
That is like a wound; if you touch me, you will
Make to me an irreparable harm.

I have forgotten your love, yet I seem to
Glimpse you in every window.

“Oh, love! It’s so sweet, but it’s so painful, Melodramatic mood is my specialisation!” Melancholetta said when we were drying each other’s tears. A tears as raindrops… Chopin knows.

Second week with my guest was look like I was trapped. Miss Melancholetta were desperately inviting me to her old grandmother Madam Depression. I could not allow her to deliver me to Madam Depression (due to it is really, really expensive) and we made an agreement: I write a post about her and I am free.

So I am free now. Thank you, Miss Melancholetta for your sweet company. I am really grateful for your visit.

When you feel sad, please, know Miss Melancholetta has visited you. Enjoy her company for a while but do not let her to introduce you with Madam. You know who she is.

Have a happy weekend!

Angel of Spring

Hello God!

Thank You for today. Today is the last day of winter. Miracle, great miracle are happening now, and we are really lucky to witness it: Angel of Spring is on his way! The story is visualised by Russian artist Vladimir Rumyantsev.

BraveVasya

Have you ever met a cat-poet? I have met and even read his book. (Sorry for my English but my language can’t define a cat, especially a poet as “it”). “The Life and Opinions of the Tomcat Murr” by E. Hoffmann is the book. Tonight’s hero is thinking in the same words as cat Murr.

“Ah, what a fine, wonderful and elated thing is life!” –  a cat enjoys the view from his tree. “O Nature, sacred, sublime Nature! How all your joy, all your delight flows through my breast, how your mysteriously murmuring breath wafts around me! Climbed would be more accurate, but a poet doesn’t mention his feet, even if he has four of them like me, only his pinions…” – it seems our hero is a real poet.

Suddenly somebody has interrupted a poetic inspiration.

– Who are you, lovely Creature? asks our cat-poet.  – What are you doing on my tree? I have never seen you before. Please do not afraid, I am kind and I love my guests. You know even a birds have not a fear of me due to my tender character, – the cat is getting closer to Angel curiously.

– I do not afraid you, because I do not know what “afraid you” means, I have just been born. I am Angel of Spring.

– Really?! I am Vasilii, call me just Vasya. Happy to meet you.

– Happy to meet you, Vasya, – smiling Angel responds.

Angel

– Is it true that an angel can make a dream comes true if he is seen at the first time? – asking eyes of Vasya is filled by hope.

– Of course I can, your dream is the first in my life. What are you dreaming about? – surprised Angel says.

– Ah, if the dear little girl were to approach me! I feel a strange stirring within me, a certain impassioned appetite me away with irresistible force! Ah, would that sweet and lovely girl-cat but come hither, I would clasp her to my lovesick heart and never let her go. How rare is true sympathy of souls in these sorry, obdurate loveless times! To find love, true love is my dream. – Vasya’s tears are rolling down his fluffy cheeks he licks its by his tongue to dry.

Angel and Vasya

– Vasya, your dream is exactly my responsibility. I am Angel of Spring, remember, and Love, I am spreading Love by my wings. Please, Vasya, do not cry, I am gifted by Power of Love. I will make all flowers bloom, I will navigate a birds to return to its nests, I will pervade every living cells by a song of Love. You will find her, I promise!  – Angel of Spring assures.

Silence, beautiful silence are covering them together with a beautiful crone of the cat’s favourite tree. They are sitting above the city and every hearts is beating because of promising song of Love there.

Angel of Spring has promised the season of Love. Are you feeling Love? I am seeing  in the skies: above me arches the wide and starry sky, the full moon casts her sparkling light, and  the roofs and turrets around me are bathed in glowing silvery lustre named Spring and Love is in the air. Thank you for your belief in Angel of Spring.

Happy Spring, Season of Love!
