Weatherhythmic Motet

Happy December and beautiful snowy weekend!

Glorialana Magazine

Hello God!

Thank You for a snowstorm today. I am singing a cheerful motet with the wind and snow on my face. My cheeks are healthily pink and nose is red. I feel pulsation of Life in every snowflakes dancing around.

The Persistance of Play

Thinking about this post I have found a treasure. I have discovered a very talented and original artist Nathalie Miebach! Perhaps you have heard about her, but for me she is new and she is genius. I am very grateful for today’s snow storm because of this weather I have met so gifted person.

The Last Ride

In music, polyphony refers to a piece that has more than one voice, melody, or theme. Polyphony means “many voices” or “two or more independent melodic parts sounded together.” Motet is a polyphonic composition with more than one text sung simultaneously.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Glorialana Magazine

Hello God!

Thank You for today. Often we think that it is just another day in our life. You know what? It is not just another day: it is the day that is given to us.

Today is Thanksgiving. Every language in the world has a way of saying “thank you”. In English the Latin root of the word “gratitude” is “grate” or “gratis” – a given gift – and from this same root we get our word “grace”, which means a gift freely given.

We all are gifted by Today. Three miraculous minutes of gratitude are visiting us to remind that we are engaged in a Miracle which we do not even recognise.

I have read in one book that a state of gratitude is the door to which all of the other beautiful aspects of consciousness begin to flower. When we project gratitude and thankfulness from the core of our…

Metamorphosis of Dr. Snail

Beautiful love story for Valentine’s Today!

Glorialana Magazine

Hello God!

Thank You for miraculous metamorphosis we are in every moment of our being. Today we have a wonderful possibility to observe a fascinating transformation of my friend Lilith Snail. Vivid pictures by Josees Cofet  animate my story.

The old botanical book

Lilith Snail is an intellectual woman. She is well educated. Two University diplomas and Doctor’s Degree in Biology prove that she is typically bluestocking. She spends her life in a libraries and laboratories. At this very moment she is writing an article about pollination for a serious scientific conference. Big intellectual boss is waiting for her thesis.

I tell you his secret – he likes Lilith but he thinks she is so far from any “likes” and “loves”. He frightens. And he is her boss. Big intellectual boss can not afford banal romance with Doctor in (what the horror!) a working place.

Pollination

She writes: “Pollination is the process by which pollen is…

Paris, Do Not Cry!

Hello God!

Thank You for the strength not to cry now. The paintings of Kate Powell help me keeping my tears inside my eyes and asking for Paris to do the same.

Paris, please don’t cry!

We are not really gone,

We will see you again

In your children’s eyes.

Please, do not cry

Paris, please don’t cry!

Don’t be sad, but be brave.

Keep up your chin,

Do not be afraid.

Pain of loss

Paris, please don’t cry!

We know you are in pain –

Our blood is in Senna,

Your tears are endless…

tears

Paris, please don’t cry!

We are not really dead.

We will be in your heart.

We will be in your lungs.

open heart

Paris, please don’t cry!

Our hearts turn in flowers and lights –

The City of Lights can not be in darkness.

We are always be with you kissing your face…

Paris, please don’t cry!

But the Parisian sky
Is not cruel for long
So that he may be forgiven
He offers a rainbow.

We should believe in Humanity.

Je suis Paris. Tu est Paris. Nous sommes Paris.

2015 Parisian Candles

Dear Paris! No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. I can not imagine what you must be feeling right now. I cannot even begin to understand what you are going through right now, but I offer my prayers and condolences to you, dear Paris.
Words cannot express my sadness.

Glorialana Magazine

Hello God!

Thank You for Strength to deep the Faith in Humanity.

Just a day ago the first post of 2015 was planned as a cheerful publication with happy hope to realise a list of the New Year resolutions. Yesterday I with my family celebrated orthodox Christmas…

Yesterday 12 Parisians had their own plan.

Today 12 burning candles are in this post…

As a Political Science post graduate student I had researched a myth based on “The Clash of Civilisation” by Samuel Huntington. “The principal conflicts of global politics will occur between nations and groups of different civilisations.” “The world will be shaped in large measure by the interactions among seven or eight major civilizations. These include Western, Confucian, Japanese, Islamic, Hindu, Slavic-Orthodox, Latin American and possibly African civilisation” the scientist writes.

Lacrimosa

The story repeats.
Russian airliner carrying 224 people crashed in a mountainous area of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, killing everyone on board – 17 children and 207 adults…
The mourning choir of our hearts are weeping Lacrimosa again.

Glorialana Magazine

Hello God!

Thank You for our hearts. Today in the mourning choir our hearts are weeping about 295 people dead in Malaysian jet crash. 80 children were aboard. How we can hold it? The statue tells more than words can describe…

Pain and the questions without answer are desperately pulsating in our hearts: Why? What for?

Lacrimosa

“Lacrimosa” from “Requiem for My Friend” by Zbigniew Preisner holds us in the Universe hands and our heart’s voices are expressing the pain of loss in the grand unison. When do we understand that we all are connected – tears in Ukraine are reflecting in our eyes now?! From Netherlands to Malaysia sharp pain is covering the whole world.

Where is the difference who is right or wrong if our children are dying because of war games a “very important” politicians play?

Ah! that day of tears and mourning!
From the dust of…

Lullaby for Summer

Thank You, Summer, for happiness and joy! Bye-bye!

Glorialana Magazine

Hello God!

Thank You very much for this last day of Summer. Vladimir Gusev, Russian artist, helps me to sing a lullaby for our Angel of Summer.

SummerDream

When the bright clouds that escort the moon on its flight
Light a pale golden sky as the dusk turns to night;
You’ll visit your dreamland of magic and grace,
Where angels brush stardust from your smiling face.

SummerKite

So walk in your dreams through the star-scattered night.
Surrounded by moonbeams, you’ll rest in the light
Of all those who love you, so blessed by your charms;
As light as a feather, you rest in their arms.

SummerLove

You’ll rest in a forest, so silent and deep,
Where velvet moss pillows a unicorn’s sleep;
And bright fairy lanterns will shimmer and glow
Through the darkness to guide you wherever you go.

SummerAngel

So walk in your dreams through the star-scattered night.
Surrounded by moonbeams, you’ll…

Ah! that day of tears and mourning!
From the dust of earth returning
man for judgment must prepare him;
Spare, O God, in mercy spare him!

Lord, all pitying, Jesus blest,
grant them thine eternal rest.

Sorry I can not write. Tears are rolling down…

Thank you for your heart. I believe that we can make our world better even if our hearts are singing in the mourning choir – but we are singing in the grand unison together. Thank you for sharing with me my pain – I am much more better now.
