Lullaby for Summer

Hello God!

Thank You very much for this last day of Summer. Vladimir Gusev, Russian artist, helps me to sing a lullaby for our Angel of Summer.

SummerDream

When the bright clouds that escort the moon on its flight
Light a pale golden sky as the dusk turns to night;
You’ll visit your dreamland of magic and grace,
Where angels brush stardust from your smiling face.

SummerKite

So walk in your dreams through the star-scattered night.
Surrounded by moonbeams, you’ll rest in the light
Of all those who love you, so blessed by your charms;
As light as a feather, you rest in their arms.

SummerLove

You’ll rest in a forest, so silent and deep,
Where velvet moss pillows a unicorn’s sleep;
And bright fairy lanterns will shimmer and glow
Through the darkness to guide you wherever you go.

SummerAngel

So walk in your dreams through the star-scattered night.
Surrounded by moonbeams, you’ll rest in the light
Of all those who love you, so blessed by your charms;
As light as a feather, you rest in their arms.

Sleep well, dear Angel of Summer. We will meet in our Winter dreams…

Thank you for our happy Summer. We are fulfilled by sunny rays and happy to meet the next season of happiness. I know, I promise.

  1. Reblogged this on Inneffable Serendipity and commented:
    Soft water, soft tears
    Tones mingle in the stream
    Breaking waves on shores, unopened
    Eggs of chocolate needles and thread
    Sowing back the light into the clouds
    Building up with airthin bricks of beliefs
    That I will

    See this land again
    Your voice is printed in my ears and
    You forgot your lips on my skin
    So I’ll buy a plane ticket and spend my summer
    Bringing it all back to you

      1. Thank you, your beautiful lullaby made me think back upon my own summer 🙂 May you have a wonderful golden fall yourself !! 😀

  2. This was a fascinating and long poem with a message of love and comfort to read of the warm days of Summer! This made me feel all warm and tingly, like it was a sunny day, instead of a cold, frigid snowy night! Thanks for this sweet message! Robin
