Chanel Lightens

Hello God!

Thank You for the 19th of August! Coco Chanel was born at that Day. Today she is 130 y.o. I has written “She is” because she lives in her wisdom and creativity. We enjoy her Inspiration therefore she lives. You know it is perpetual hope about immortality of the leading our ways Spirit.

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” Great Coco knows exactly what she says about.

Her secret, I think, is in French easiness of perception and accepting everything life suggests. Lets follow by her lightness she is radiating around!

Shapoklyak

Oh, meet my favorite personage from my childhood. It is Shapoklyak. I think she looks like on Coco.

Shapoklyak’s Song is below. I am sure you will enjoy the song and the look of main personage. It is my present to great Coco Chanel. Happy Birthday, Gabriele!

Thank you for sharing this light moment with me. I enjoy your smiles.

  1. Coco Chanel was such a fascinating character, and I love some of her quotes you see around the internet too. And that video is very amusing, is it something you used to watch as a child? It reminds me of some of the animated programmes I watched as a child, but not the language of course – because I’m English! What is the language – I’ve been trying to guess and I’m baffled!! 😀

    1. Hello Suzy! The song is in Russian. Have you ever heard about famous Cheburashka. It was the Symbol of the Russian Olympic team. Shapoklyak, the singer a la Chanel, is from the same cartoon.

      1. I’m surprised I didn’t recognise it as Russian, I thought for a moment it might be Polish, but then I thought – no it’s not. Fooled me that one!! No, I’ve not heard of Cheburashka, that’s probably because I’m not a big sport fan, don’t watch very much sport on TV, so I probably haven’t seen enough of the Olympics to have noticed that one! 🙂
